Hello! My name is Christianne Francovich and I am a Dutch designer. Currently I am completing my Masters of Design at Carnegie Mellon University.
What did I do before this?
I have always been keen on deciphering how things work. As a child, multiple Ikea alarm clocks have forfeited their existence for my education. This curiosity has continued throughout my life and has eventually led to my choice to study Industrial Design Engineering at the Delft University of Technology, in the Netherlands. Throughout my educational and professional work, I have designed solutions by combining creativity with technology. I get excited when seemingly illogical things can be combined into logical solutions by looking at a problem from a different angle or by simply asking a different question.

Words to live by:
Every design problem is different, so you can never solely rely on experience to solve it. Therefore, I believe that a good designer stays curious, takes initiative and tries new things with a healthy dose of optimism.
“I have never done it, so I think I can do it”.
- borrowed from my favourite fictional character Pippi Longstocking.
I love to inspire others with my enthusiasm. So if you ever want to bounce ideas off me, feel free to contact me at: firstname.lastname@example.org
